Event Waiver, Release of Liability and Hold Harmless Agreement
Read Carefully. By purchasing a ticket you agree to these terms. This document limits your legal rights to recovery of damages on account of personal or bodily injury due to your presence, participation, or observation of this event.
I am over the age of 21, seek admission to the Event of my own free will, am of sound mind and body, and am not under the influence of any drugs, medications, alcohol or other substances that could impair my ability or review and understand the terms and conditions of this Agreement. In consideration for being permitted to attend a Wicked Eden event sponsored by The Autonomy Project (“Event”), and to participate in personal or group activities that occur there (“Activities”), the undersigned agrees as follows:
Activity and Risks
Attendance at the Event is restricted to approved members of the Autonomy Project. Activities occurring at the Event are adult-oriented and sexually explicit and may involve scenes of domination, submission, bondage, discipline, sadism, and masochism. I acknowledge that I have knowingly and voluntarily agreed to attend the Event with the knowledge that I will be exposed to these Activities, which may be inherently dangerous or involve risk of serious bodily injury even when undertaken with the upmost care and skill. Some Activities are physically demanding and I will not participate in Activities unless medically capable of doing so.
Assumption of Risk
I knowingly assume and accept all risks of injury, illness, disease, death, property damage or loss and other injuries, known and unknown, that I may cause or personally incur as a result of my participation in Activities at the Event, including any injury or loss caused by the alleged negligence of the Event promoter, hosts, directors, officers, agents, employees, volunteers and presenters. I accept full responsibility for my participation in Activities and assume the risk of the use of the premises, facilities and equipment provided. I understand that the Event is not responsible for the conduct of other participants and assume and accept the risks of my participation in Activities with these persons.
Waiver, Release and Indemnification
I waive, fully release and discharge the Event and its promoters, hosts, directors, officers, agents, employees, volunteers, and presenters (“Released Parties”) from any and all liability, claims, costs, and damages of any kind, including death or serious injury to body, person or reputation, which I or my heirs, next of kin or legal representatives may accrue, and that arise or result, directly or indirectly, from my participation in the Event, any Activities that occur during the Event, education provided at the Event, or any first aid, transportation, or medical care provided in connection with my participation, without respect to the alleged negligence of the released parties. I will further defend, indemnify and hold each Released Party harmless from and against any and all liability, loss, damages, claims, and attorney fees that party may suffer resulting or arising, directly or indirectly, from my participation in the Event or Activities that occur there.
Event Rules
For my safety and that of the other participants, I will comply with the terms and conditions of the Event, including the Code of Conduct, Consent Policy and other policies. I understand that if I violate any of the Event Rules I may be subject to immediate ejection without refund of my registration fee.
Privacy and Confidentiality
I agree that everything I observe at the Event will be kept in strict confidence and that I will do nothing to jeopardize the privacy or reveal the identifies of other participants. I am attending the Event for my personal enjoyment and not on behalf of any agency of law enforcement or media organization. Participants are expressly forbidden from providing media organizations with reports of activities taking place at the Event without prior specific written permission.
Severability
If any portion of this agreement shall be held invalid, illegal or unenforceable in any jurisdiction, the validity, legality and enforceability of the remaining provisions of this agreement shall not be affected thereby.
I have read, understand and agreed to be bound by this agreement.
